Latest news on Daniel Munoz, Nico O’Reilly and others

DREAM TEAM brings you all the latest injury, suspension and availability news ahead of Gameweek 27.

Nico O’Reilly “feels better” ahead of Manchester City’s trip to St James’ Park in the FA Cup but Pep Guardiola and his team won’t make a decision on the youngster’s involvement until after today’s training session.

Erling Haaland missed last weekend’s trip to Leeds but recovered in time to play 90 minutes against Nottingham Forest in midweek — he is currently the second-most transferred-out player ahead of today’s 6:30pm deadline.

As for Newcastle, Jacob Ramsey is suspended following his red card against Manchester United and it’s possible Sandro Tonali will have his minutes managed after Eddie Howe named him as one of several players “maxed out”.

Nick Woltemade is expected to be available having got over the worst of an illness.

Daniel Munoz was forced off early with a shoulder injury during Crystal Palace’s win over Tottenham on Thursday night.

After the game, Oliver Glasner revealed that the Colombian’s arm was in a brace.

The Eagles don’t play again until Thursday when they will host AEK Larnaca in the Conference League but Munoz has to be deemed a major doubt at this stage.

Micky van de Ven was shown a red card against Palace and will be suspended for Spurs’ next domestic game but the Dutchman will be eligible to face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

Elsewhere, Arne Slot told reporters that Florian Wirtz trained “half and half” in midweek but it’s unclear whether the German playmaker will feature against either Wolves or Galatasaray.

Matty Cash was forced off at half time during Aston Villa’s loss to Chelsea in midweek and is considered a doubt for Thursday’s Europa League meeting with Lille.

Speaking about the right-back, Unai Emery said: “We will do a scan. Hopefully, not a lot [of time out]. He had some doubts about his calf.”

William Saliba skipped Arsenal’s trip to Brighton because he turned his ankle in the previous game.

The French centre-back is thought to be targeting a return against Bayer Leverkusen in midweek.

Myles Lewis-Skelly is suspended for the Gunners’ trip to Mansfield in the FA Cup.

Liam Rosenior told reporters he plans to rotate his squad ahead of Chelsea’s games against Wrexham and PSG with Romeo Lavia likely to return in some capacity this weekend.

Estevao is not yet ready to feature but the Brazilian youngster has stepped up his recovery this week while Jamie Gittens is said to be “really close” after an encouraging scan.

Bournemouth, Brighton, Burnley, Everton and Manchester United are all without a fixture in Gameweek 27.
