
A MAN, 25, stabbed to death in a horror attack has been named, as cops arrested two men.
Police were called to the scene, in Battersea, London, after reports of a group fighting on Monday night.
Officers arrived on Thessaly Road at 6.12pm and discovered 25-year-old Tai Folkes had been seriously wounded.
Paramedics rushed Tai to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
Two men, aged 28 and 38, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.
They have both been released on police bail as the investigation continues.
Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie, who is leading the murder probe, said: “Our thoughts remain with Tai’s family and loved ones as they come to terms with his tragic death.
“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, has information about those involved, or who may hold relevant CCTV, doorbell or dash‑cam footage from the area to contact police as a matter of urgency.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was on Thessaly Road, Savona Estate, SW8, near the Costcutter shop between 17:45hrs and 18:15hrs or Battersea Park Road, SW8, or Stewart’s Road, between 18:10hrs and 18:20hrs on Monday, 2 March.”
The detective urged anyone who may have been in the area to check dashcam or helmet-cam footage.
