KATIE Price’s ex JJ Slater has shared a heartbreaking post about “going to hell and back” after she admitted she wasn’t in love with the Married At First Sight star.
The pair split in January and she tied the knot with self-proclaimed businessman Lee Andrews just two weeks later.
Since then, the E4 star has been laying low in Florida but now he’s shared a very telling post about how he’s been feeling since the ending of his relationship.
He shared a series of moving images of him standing shirtless on a beach in a pair of black swimming trunks and sunglasses.
JJ penned: “Some days weren’t easy, but I kept showing up. Smiled in public… fought battles in private.
“When nothing made sense, I just prayed and kept it moving. The same pressure that tried to break me built me.
“Now I stand on the other side grateful, humbled, and thankful to God for every lesson.”
His loyal followers rushed to the comments section to commend him on the work he’s been doing on himself behind the scenes.
One said: “You honestly seem like such a good person, a person I never saw before and I like it and I bet so many people also see the same.”
Another person commented: “Stay humble, you are a beautiful soul.
Somebody else penned: “You look so much better, so much happier and relaxed it’s great to see. Everything happens for a reason.
While a fourth added: “You are back to the gorgeous you… don’t ever let any woman rule your world. The past is now far behind and all the best for your best future yet.”
JJ and Katie began dating shortly after his stint on MAFS in February 2024.
The two were met with plenty of speculation they’d secretly split last year after not being pictured together for some time.
However, she happily posed for a picture with him and his family on Boxing Day, insisting everything was good between them.
But this didn’t last for long as they ended their relationship for good come January.
Just weeks later, she announced her engagement to Lee, before getting married to him in a secret ceremony in Dubai two days later.
They’ve since had a second ceremony and declared their love for one another all over social media, despite having met online a week before tying the knot.
JJ previously revealed the brutal way he found out his ex had moved on after being bombarded with messages on social media.
In an exclusive interview, he told the Sun On Sunday: “I was getting congratulations from random people on Instagram. I’m thinking, I haven’t done anything great and then I’ve replied to one from someone I knew like ‘for what?’ and then they said ‘Oh, you’re engaged’.
“I was like, ‘what do you mean?’ And then obviously they sent me and I was like ‘no, that’s the wrong guy’. But no, I’d never heard of or come across him before, no.”
Katie revealed in an exclusive interview with The Sun yesterday that she’s only been in love three times in her life.
She announced she was in love with her first husband Peter Andre, ex-boyfriend Dane Bowers and now Lee.
The former glamour model failed to mention JJ, which of course a bitter pill to swallow considering they were in a relationship for two years.
But it looks like JJ is moving on and taking the high road.
