OLIVIA Attwood’s new ITV show The Heat saw plenty of drama tonight, which included Jean-Christophe Novelli seen furiously swearing at a contestant before throwing him out of the kitchen.
The cooking competition began on ITV2 last week and sees a batch of aspiring chefs run a restaurant in Barcelona under the watchful eye of Michelin Star chef Jean -Christophe – but this evening he was NOT happy.
Each contestant must battle it out during each service, with one person being eliminated at the end of the episode.
On tonight’s instalment, Jean-Christophe, 65, was left fuming with Northern chef Djordje, 26.
It all kicked off when the Wakefield lad waved a knife around in the kitchen, which aggravated the celebrity chef.
What infuriated Jean-Christophe further was when Djordie started to laugh.
Seeing red, the French chef started to swear and said: “Don’t you dare! Get that f***ing knife away.
“You don’t work you just f**k around with that knife!”
Jean-Christophe then decided he couldn’t stand the sight of Djordie anymore and furiously threw him out of his kitchen.
Pointing towards the door, he told the aspiring chef: “You are not laughing now are you?”
“Get out now before you p**s me off!”
Meanwhile, the latest installment of The Heat saw filming halted after one star suffered a medical emergency and “couldnt breathe”.
The Heat got too much for front of house team member Helina, who began to feel unwell.
As she complained about feeling light-headed, her colleague Seren told her to sit down and drink some water.
Helina was seen lying back on a chair as a crew member checked her blood pressure, while somebody else fanned her with paper.
The front of house manager approached her and asked: “Hi my love, are you okay?”
Helina admitted: “I feel like I can’t breathe.”
She was then told by the manager: “I think I want to send you home today, we’ve got a busy service and I’d rather you take care of your health. I can run this.”
Speaking directly to camera, Helina said: “I was not feeling well going into service but I just ignored it. I really wanted to be there for Jayon.”
She was then seen being escorted out of the restaurant after being sent home to recuperate.
The Heat airs Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV2, with episodes dropping each morning on ITVX
