SOMBR was one of the many A-list stars to descend on the BRIT Awards’ stage on Saturday night with a sensational performance.
But just moments before his live appearance, the singer had an awkward moment backstage with fellow stars Robbie Williams and Harry Styles.
Sombr – real name Shane Michael Boose – was filmed as he walked through the corridors backstage at the BRITs before taking to the stage.
And as he walked past fellow stars Robbie and Harry, who were having a one-on-one conversation, the singer awkwardly appeared to blank the former.
Interrupting the conversation, Sombr, 20, seemingly introduced himself to Harry and shook the former One Direction star’s hand.
Meanwhile, Robbie appeared confused as he was completely blanked by Sombr, who continued walking after shaking Harry’s hand.
The clip has now been shared to TikTok and has amassed over one million views.
Fans in the comments were quick to notice Sombr’s seeming snub of Robbie, as one user wrote in the comment section: “Not only he interrupts a conversation, he completely ignores THE robbie williams”.
“Okay but ignoring Robbie Williams??” said another.
Commenting on Robbie’s bewildered facial expression, a fan speculated: “Robbie Williams was not happy”.
Another echoed: “Idk it’s kinda disrespectful to only shake the hand of one person. When I am interrupting a conversation I am saying hello to everyone even if I don’t know them.”
“I love sombr but I think it’s basic etiquette to say hi to whoever is beside as well,” wrote another.
Putting aside the awkward moment, others were more interested in what Harry and Robbie could be discussing, and whether a crossover is on the cards.
“Harry talking to robbie williams is more exciting for me. MAKE A SONG!” said a fan.
Harry opened the BRIT Awards on Saturday night with an incredible performance of his new song, while Sombr performed later in the show with his smash hit Back To Friends.
The latter’s performance had plenty of drama as he was momentarily away from the stage after an “intruder” pushed him off of the stage.
The unidentified man then turned around to reveal a t-shirt that read “Sombr is a homewrecker” – a nod to his latest single.
While many thought the star had been attacked, it is thought to have actually been a planned stunt by the performer.
Closing the show later on, Robbie performed a tribute to late rocker Ozzy Osbourne.
He joined a number of famous faces to perform a rendition of the star’s song No More Tears.
