Urgent hunt to find missing woman, 54, who vanished from her home in village during early hours

COPS have launched an urgent hunt to find a missing woman who vanished from her home during the early hours.

Concerns are growing for “keen walker” Eleanor, 54, who disappeared from Weeping Cross, Staffordshire, yesterday morning.

Staffordshire Police said: “We are appealing for your help to find missing Eleanor.

“Eleanor was last seen at her home address in Weeping Cross. She is described as 5ft 8ins tall, of a slim build, and with dark brown curly hair.

“Eleanor was last seen wearing a dark coat with fur on the hood, with mid-length brown boots, and carrying a black rucksack.

“As a keen walker, she is known to frequent Cannock Chase and the Isabel Trail. Eleanor is also known to visit Barmouth in Wales.”
