Champions League fixtures confirmed after last 16 draw and could force Arsenal into Premier League change

UEFA have released the full schedule of dates and times for the Champions League last-16.

The draw took place on Friday morning as clubs across Europe learned their knockout round opponents.

A pathway to May’s final in Budapest, Hungary, can also be mapped out for the remainder of the tournament.

Among the standout ties for next month’s games are Real Madrid vs Manchester City (again), Barcelona vs Newcastle, and Chelsea vs PSG.

Liverpool now know that they will go away to Galatasaray, who edged past Juventus in a crazy playoff after winning the first-leg 5-2, on March 10 in the 5.45pm fixture.

Arsenal travel to Bayer Leverkusen in the early game a day later with Tottenham heading to Madrid to face Atletico and Newcastle hosting Barca on the 10th as well.

Chelsea face PSG at the Parc des Princes on March 11,the same night City visit the Santiago Bernabeu.

The reverse fixtures see Sporting play surprise contenders Bodo/Glimt at 5.45pm on March 17.

Newcastle’s trip to the Camp Nou is the early game on the Wednesday.

Those who play on the Tuesday for the first leg will be on Wednesday in the second, and vice versa.
