Kim’s first alleged murder took place after she checked into a motel in Seoul, South Korea, with a man in his twenties on January 28.

She left after two hours and the man was found dead the following day.

Then, on February 9, she checked into another motel with another man in his twenties.

He died under similar circumstances.

Post-mortem examinations found large quantities of different drugs in both bodies.

Kim was arrested on suspicion of murder on February 11.

During questioning she admitted to spiking the men’s drinks with benzodiazepine-containing sedatives.

But she denied any intent to kill the men.

When cops scoured Kim’s mobile phone for evidence, they discovered a string of disturbing queries to ChatGPT.

Kim allegedly asked the AI bot, “What happens if you take sleeping pills with alcohol?”.

She also questioned how much of the toxic combination would be “dangerous” and, “could someone die?”.

A police source said: “She asked these questions several times and received answers, so she was fully aware that combining alcohol and drugs could be fatal.”

Authorities say Kim had already tried to kill her ex-boyfriend in December last year.

She allegedly spiked his drink with sedatives in a café car park in Namyangju, South Korea, causing him to fall unconscious for two days.

When he came around, he reported the incident.

Investigators believe that after her first failed attempt, Kim researched her method and increased the doses in her subsequent attacks.

On the day her second victim died, Kim posted a selfie on social media.

She captioned the post with hashtags like “follow me”, “follow back” and “DM for follow back”.

Cops believe she may have been seeking additional victims.

Local media reports Kim has a history of mental health treatment.

Police are now investigating whether there were other victims and are awaiting the results of a psychopathy assessment.
