ADAM Peaty has shared some unseen snaps from his honeymoon with wife Holly Ramsay and revealed a new tattoo.
The Olympic swimmer, 31, showed off his muscular physique in the black and white snaps as he hit the pool for some lengths after his star-studded wedding in December.
Holly and Adam stretched their honeymoon out for an entire month, visiting Mauritius and Australia, and made sure to relax on the beach when they weren’t exercising.
The loved-up groom added to his ink collection by getting a small design etched on his hand, though it’s not clear what the tattoo represents.
Adam wrote on Instagram: “Honeymoon archives.
“Continuing to build some great work into this season.
“(Also a new small tattoo).”
His body art collection includes a large lion on his upper arm, tributes to his Christian faith and the Olympic rings, a common rite of passage among elite athletes.
There are also tributes to his wife, including an ‘H’ at the base of his throat.
The upload comes as his father-in-law Gordon revealed Adam calls him “dad” – a bitter blow to his own father Mark, who he is currently estranged from.
Rumours of a fallout between Peaty, Holly and the Olympian’s family emerged in November.
Adam’s mum Caroline wasn’t invited to Holly’s hen do or the couple’s wedding and accused the Ramsays of pulling her son “away from her”.
While Mark was told he could attend but only if he sat at the back of the venue, something which he felt was disrespectful
Gordon is currently on the promo trail for his new Netflix reality series and revealed the close relationship he shares with Adam.
He said: “He calls me dad. He messaged me and said ‘Hey dad what have you got? Hey dad, are you around later?’
“And it’s just like ‘Oh my God’. Incredible. And what a lovely couple. They are a dream for Tana and I.”
Asked by Gaby Roslin on the Reasons To Be Joyful podcast how much he cried at the wedding, Gordon, 59, joked: “Don’t, have you seen the size of the flower bill?
“Sixty-three metre walk down the aisle and I don’t know why Holly thought that every pew needed to be decorated with the most gorgeous carnations.
“All the flowers did go to a hospice and the local hospital literally the day after.
“And then there’s this moment, the car journey, and she’s holding my hand, she’s squeezing it, and said ‘Dad, it’s time’. And I ‘Oh no’.
“You know when you get excited and then you’re just sort of nervous and you say ‘No’.
“And then I walked into the bloody church and there’s Adam absolutely bawling like he’s just got out of the swimming pool.
“And even I’m feeling emotional now because it is an incredible day and we had such an amazing morning together.
“And I sort of got a new son as well, as opposed to saying goodbye to Holly.”
Adam’s brothers James and Richard and his extended family were not present for his and Holly’s nuptials.
His sister Bethany was the only Peaty family member to attend, acting as Holly’s maid of honour.
James was previously arrested over allegations he sent threats to the Olympian during his stag do.
As a result, Adam received a police escort from Manchester Airport in November after the trip from Budapest.
Adam reportedly received a stinging text from his estranged aunt Louise just moments before walking down the aisle, according to the Daily Mail.
Her text allegedly read: “I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both. Shame.
“Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams.”
