ARSENAL fans were left raging after Pep Guardiola declared he will petition for Marc Guehi to play in the Carabao Cup final.
Manchester City’s new £20million centre-back was forced to watch last night’s 3-1 semi-final win over Newcastle from the stands.

Guehi had already played in the competition this season for Crystal Palace.
But he was ineligible to feature last night after not being registered before the first leg.
City’s 5-1 aggregate victory saw them set up an epic showdown against fellow title hunters Arsenal.
And because he missed out on registration for the semis, Guehi is also unable to play in the showpiece event at Wembley.
However, City manager Guardiola reckons the former Palace captain should be given special treatment.
He feels Guehi must feature in his side, having been drafted in as cover for injured duo John Stones and Josko Gvardiol.
Guardiola insists the rules should be changed after City made a “big investment” in Guehi.
And he hopes Carabao chiefs will make a special allowance in time for the match.

Guardiola said: “Hopefully we can convince the Carabao Cup that Marc can play this final.
“It’s difficult to understand that the club made a big investment to play one player, to take one player that belonged to us.
“I don’t understand why he cannot play the final.
“So we will make a letter and hopefully the Carabao Cup can understand that when you buy a player for a lot of money, and he’s not able to play for a rule…
“I don’t understand why but hopefully they can change it and he can play.”
Arsenal fans were left raging by Pep’s cheeky attempts to make Guehi eligible – especially after they KO’d him and Palace earlier in the season.
One said: “Who do they think they are?”
Another declared: “Knowing them they’ll get away with it.”
One noted: “Taking the p***, just dropping it in a live interview.”
Another added: “Pep said rules are rules… unless they inconvenience me.”
