When Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston split over his alleged high-profile affair with Angelina Jolie, tabloid rumors ran rampant and any hope of civility seemed impossible.

Their seemingly picture perfect marriage imploded when Pitt, 62, hooked up with bad girl Angie, leaving Aniston, 56, who was then America’s Sweetheart, absolutely devastated as ‘Brangelina’ took hold of the nation.

But now, more than 20 years after the explosive fallout – and his subsequent messy divorce from Jolie, now 50 – Pitt and Aniston would reportedly consider working together if the roles were right.

Aniston and Pitt divorced in 2005, five years after they said ‘I do’ in a lavish wedding ceremony at a Malibu estate and a matter of months after he met Jolie on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith in May 2004.

At the time, rumors of an affair started to rumble, with the paparazzi flying in with helicopters in a desperate bid to capture Pitt canoodling with Jolie. They were even listening in on the set’s walkie-talkies for information. Production heard a single picture of them could be worth as much as $300,000.

Pitt and Aniston, widely regarded at the time as Hollywood’s golden couple, soon released a joint statement announcing their separation – but insisted it was ‘not the result of any of the speculation reported by the tabloid media.’

While Jolie vehemently denied the cheating rumors, she and Pitt added fuel to the fire by playing house in Palm Springs for a 60-page portfolio titled Domestic Bliss. Aniston later reacted by saying her ex had a ‘sensitivity chip missing.’

It seemed like the exes would be feuding forever, but time has reportedly turned the former partners into friends.

The insider claimed it is ‘likely, if it hasn’t already happened behind closed doors, that they will get together for future dinners’ with their new partners – Aniston is dating hypnotherapist Curtis while Pitt has been with Ines de Ramon for three years.

Curtis who was reportedly introduced to Aniston by friends, recently blushed when asked about the Friends star on the Today Show.

The handsome wellness coach appears quite smitten and her inner circle are said to believe he is the one, despite only dating for a year.

Meanwhile, Pitt has been with Ramon, who was previously linked to actor Paul Wesley, since late 2022 when the Daily Mail obtained pictures of the pair at a Bono concert. She has been by his side as he has weathered his ongoing divorce saga with Jolie, with the pair still hashing it out over their French winery, 10 years after she filed to terminate their two-year marriage.

The separation is said to have reinforced his ‘great friendship’ with Aniston.

‘They would even work together,’ our source said.

‘Probably not in a relationship onscreen, but they would share screen time if the parts were right.’
