Henry signed for non-league Bishops Langley on 15 January and hung up his boots on the 31st.

A product of Tottenham Hotspur’s academy, Henry played in the EFL for 12 seasons. He signed for Stevenage in 2005 and made 280 appearances, scoring three times.

He then signed for Luton Town in 2012 – at that time in the Conference Premiership. He was swiftly made club captain.

In his second season with the Hatters, Henry led them to the league title. He led the defence which kept a record 23 clean sheets.
