TOWIE legend Tommy Mallett has revealed he lost a whopping £30million and was £3million in debt – yet has insisted he will be a billionaire soon.
The ITVBe star and former business partner Evren Ozka set up Mallet London in 2015, and the brand took the footwear world by storm.
The pair had been co-owners of the trainer firm with the reality star even making it to Forbes‘ 30 under 30 rich list.
But in 2024, nine years after its creation, Tommy suffered a major financial hit after cutting ties with – and being sued by – his business partner.
The dad of two, 33, saw his bank balance plummet following his legal issues.
Immediately after departing Mallet London, Tommy announced his new venture, CTRNE and it appears life is on the up.
He spoke candidly about his recent business woes on the Graft Kings Podcast as their first guest of the year.
The reality TV star, married to fellow TOWIE stalwart Georgia Kousoulou, donned a black baseball cap emblazoned with his company logo, white top and dark shorts for the frank chat on his business highs and lows.
He was asked by host Ozzie Ozturk: “So Tommy, what us your net worth?” to which he replied: “I’m a billionaire.”
They continued: “A billionaire on paper?” to which he said: “No, I’m a billionaire I just need to catch it up on paper.’
Tommy continued: “This will change your mind on things: “I’ve had net worths of £10million, £20million, £30million and zero.
“So this time last year I was worth zero, I was £3million in debt, probably more.
“Today if you ask me, and in the near future, I’m a billionaire.
“Don’t ask me anything else, because I can see where i am going.
“I put it out there and I am going to get it”.
He then promised the podcast gang his success wouldn’t be far away.
TOWIE STARS SPIN OFF
WITH the announcement TOWIE will return in 2025 for two new series, it’s good news for some former ITVBE stars, too
TWO of the show’s best loved former stars will celebrate their own big life moments with a spin off series featuring Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou.
Their new show title is currently unconfirmed.
The pair, who first met and found love on TOWIE back in 2014, finally say ‘I Do’ in a three part special produced by Objective Entertainment.
The show will follow on from the success of their Baby Steps series.
Tommy, who has undergone a huge body transformation by ditching booze and drugs, promised: “I will have a billion pound valuation very, very quick.
“I guarantee you – because I can see it and I can feel it and I’ve been here before”.
He then told how he had used manifestation to create a million pounds as well as bag a car park space outside the gym.
It remains to be seen if his latest business bank balance will come true.
TOUGH TIMES
It comes after Tommy opened up on the “tough times” following his business clash.
Tommy said he was owed money and had been in a “toxic relationship”.
He said his family’s money and “all my kids’ money for the future is tied up in the company”.
Tommy resigned from his position as Director of the luxury brand on 31 October 2023.
Tommy’s former business partner Evren Ozka spoke out for the first time about their bitter feud in 2024, saying “I am the victim and so is my company”.
Tommy then set up his new company CTRNE, a luxury trainer brand which claims it is “designed with comfort and style in mind”.
Shortly after its creation, an injunction was swiftly issued to protect Mallet London and block CTRNE from trading in Harrods and Selfridges.
Tommy said at the time: “I’m fully starting from scratch, something I never thought I’d have to do, everything I built, all of the late nights and early mornings and time away from my family give me one thing – knowledge, it’s time to go out and do what I originally set out to do.
“Let’s get it, I’m coming for it all!”
