THE Princess of Wales showed off her good jeans – as she helped finish off a special pair made for her husband William.
Kate, 44, was welcomed to Hiut Denim, a family-owned company based in Cardigan, Wales, designing and manufacturing premium jeans entirely in the UK, by an English cocker spaniel.
Seven-year-old Barney, who was wearing a denim bow tie, greeted Kate as she arrived at the factory floor.
Kate bent down to stroke the pet and was heard telling the staff she has the same breed of dog at home, Orla.
The princess was given a 45-minute tour of the factory meeting trainees and even helping finish a pair of jeans.
Posing for a group photo Kate, who wore green trousers and a vintage Welsh wool coat, joked: “I feel like I should have worn a pair of jeans.”

The Sun recently reported on how Kate tackled Storm Chandra with a stylish plait.
Rugby patron Kate arrived at Wakefield Trinity’s ground with flowing locks.
The popular Princess had turned up looking glam in smart trousers and a jacket.
She chatted to girls being put through their paces, troubled teens at risk of being excluded from school, and pensioners taking part in a quiz.
Asked as she stood by the pitch about ten-year-old Princess Charlotte’s school activities, she said: “She does loads of sport but not rugby.”
She added: “But I love this — the league game is so embedded in community life and grassroots interaction, and also how clubs like this connect to the rest of the community.
“They’re absolute gold dust really, and I’m so proud to help support the league across the country.”
