
REBA McEntire has performed at the 68th annual Grammy Awards for the very first time in her decades-long career.
The country artist took the stage at the on Sunday night to perform her hit song Trailblazer for an emotional in memoriam segment.

It marked Reba‘s first time performing at the awards show.
Fans were shocked that the legendary singer hadn’t graced the show’s stage before, despite being a recipient of three Grammy awards herself.
“How is it possible that Reba McEntire hasn’t ever been on the stage performing at the Grammy Awards until now???? SMH,” one person reacted on X.
“YALL BETTER BE TUNING INTO THE #GRAMMYS TO WATCH MY MOTHER REBA!!!!” wrote another.
“Why is this THEE Reba McEntire’s first time performing at the #GRAMMYs? That just don’t even feel right,” said a third.
Reba was nominated at this year’s awards in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category, but lost to first-time winner, Jelly Roll.
The 70-year-old nabbed her first Grammy in the Best Female Country Vocal Performance for her track, Whoever’s in England, in 1987.
She again earned trophies for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals for her song, Does He Love You, featuring Linda Davis, in 1994, and Best Roots Gospel Album for Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope in 2018.
In total, Reba has been nominated 18 times; however, she had yet to perform on the Grammys stage until now.
The actress has had a challenging year, with the tragic passing of her former stepson, Brandon Blackstock, in August.

Reba got emotional numerous times on the latest season of The Voice while remembering the late talent manager.
The Survivor singer was married to Brandon’s father, Narvel Blackstock, from 1989 to 2015, and maintained a close relationship with her ex-stepson even after the divorce.
“My relationship with my stepson, Brandon Blackstock, was precious,” the TV star told People of their bond.

“He came into my life; I guess he was 4 years old. Then when Narvel and I got married, he was 13, 14.”
Reba continued, “Along with his mom and dad, I helped raise him, along with [step kids] Shawna and Chassidy. They were my kids.”
She later added, “Brandon is sorely missed, truly missed with his mischievousness and his love of life.
“He brought joy to everybody that met him, and we’ll never forget him.”
In September, Reba confirmed that she’s engaged to her longtime love, Rex Linn, after five years of dating.
She later revealed that they’d been engaged since December 2024.
