EIGHT people have been rushed to hospital struggling to breathe after a “mass pepper-spraying” event in a nightclub.
Police were called to the scene amid reports that dozens of people couldn’t breathe after someone sprayed the chemical on the dance floor around 1am.
The popular German night spot in Bremervorde was evacuated when policed arrive.
The severity of the injuries are still being assessed, but authorities said many people were struggling to breathe and had irritated eyes.
Police are investigating the cause as a case of aggravated assault.
