Harry Hill’s ‘anti-nepo baby’ daughters and their very bohemian jobs: Long-suffering comic claims he has to keep working to fund their lifestyles – and he wishes they went into showbiz!

While most celebrity nepo babies use their parents’ fame to catapult them into the spotlight, Harry Hill‘s three daughters have picked up so-called ‘normal’ jobs.

Unlike Victoria and David Beckham‘s children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper or Kate Moss‘s daughter Lila, who have all cashed in on their A-list parents’ fame and snapped up lavish careers, Harry’s kids are living very ‘average’ lives.

The comedian, 61, shares Kitty, 28, Winifred, 27, and Frederica, 21, with his artist wife Magda Archer.

Instead of following in their famous father’s footsteps, his daughters have all favoured a career like their mother and shunned the spotlight – and the huge salaries that it comes with.

With Kitty being a ceramist, Winifred a painter and Frederica in the textile industry, it has meant Harry has been unable to retire.

Harry, real name Matthew Keith Hall, this week shared his regrets over his children not choosing a career in showbiz because it means he ‘has to keep working’ to fund their lifestyles.

Speaking on Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe’s Parenting Hell podcast, Harry gave a rare insight into his family life.

He quipped: ‘One’s a painter, one’s a ceramicist, the other’s doing textiles – which is why I have to keep working. Get a nine-to-five. What’s wrong with that? Get a Travelcard.’

Harry has recently launched a brand new visualised podcast The Harry Hill Show and his been touring around the country.

His children’s choice to avoid a career in the spotlight has meant they have shunned big salaries – making the kind of money most average people in the UK would.

Harry’s middle child Winifred, who shares her passion projects on Instagram, recently revealed that she was excluded from her secondary school for her ‘bad grades’.

Instead of doing a ‘9-5 job’ like her father wishes, Winifred puts all of her efforts into her art portfolios, exhibitions and workshops for young children.

Sharing an insight into his daughter’s ‘average’ lifestyle, Harry joked in the podcast that Winifred – nickname Winnie – likes to join him and his wife on their lavish holidays to get away from her ‘poky flat’.

He said: ‘They [his children] come in and out, they still want to come on holiday with us because it’s a fancy holiday.

‘We always have nice holidays, it’s one of the things we splash out on and Winnie came on one and said, sitting on a sun lounger with a cocktail, couple of baby bells and an olive, “Oh I forgotten this is my heritage.”

‘Because the rest of the time she’s in a poky flat. It must be very odd for them.’

Winifred shared snaps of her lavish trip in Los Angeles on Instagram over summer last year.

Elsewhere in the chat, Harry revealed his girls performed in one of his recent shows at Shepherds Bush, dressed as Stouffer, Gary and Ice Cream.

He said: ‘At the end they come on, it has been brilliant. I always discouraged them coming [to his shows] but because they are older, it’s great.

‘You can’t see their face but somehow just by the way she is dancing I know it’s her. I think I did say I was going to pay them but I didn’t.

‘It’s the first time I thought maybe it would be great if they did go into something [performing]. They are all funny’.

Kitty sells her handmade ceramics at local markets – including hand soap dishes and vases.

In 2015, Harry confessed he didn’t give his daughters any advice because they ‘wouldn’t have listened to him’.

‘I think my girls are both proud and embarrassed of me. They think it’s cool that I know certain people off the telly, but they don’t like me picking them up from school or going to parents’ evenings,’ he told The Mirror.

‘As a father I don’t give my kids advice. It’s pointless, because they’ll do what they want anyway.

‘At the end of the day, it’s most important for them to find the things they love in life – I was lucky enough to discover that myself. No one wants to think “What if?” and live with regret.’
