Comedian Frank Skinner broke down in tears after he had a surprise reunion on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.
Filmed at the prestigious Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show returned to screens on Saturday night.
The first guest to appear on the show on Saturday was Frank Skinner, who took part in a funny-yet-poignant game of Remember Me.
The game sees a celebrity guest shown a number of people from their past, who appear in the middle of the stage via a trap door. The first person from Frank’s past to make an appearance was Shayda, his optician, followed by his primary school classmate Jeff.
But it was the third guest who stopped Frank in his tracks – the woman who delivered his son in hospital 13 years ago.
‘If you are who I think you are, are you Cathy?’ a stunned Frank said, as he got choked up.

Clearly emotional, Frank added: ‘This is Cathy, Cathy delivered my baby, and he’s actually here tonight, he’s 13 now.
‘It was actually an emergency caesarean and Cathy put her scrubs on and was totally in control, and handed me this beautiful baby.’
The pair shared a hug on stage and Cathy told Frank: ‘I’m so pleased to see you.’
Frank wiped a tear from his face and said: ‘What an amazing woman she is, honestly.
‘You handed me the most amazing gift I have ever had in my entire life, Cathy. Thank you so much.’
The sweet moment also made viewers at home emotional, as they took to social media saying: ‘Aww! Bless Frank Skinner getting emotional on #MichaelMcIntyresBigShow when meeting the woman who delivered his son. Great telly,’;
‘Aww. Lovely, genuine emotion from Frank,’; ‘Well I didn’t have blubbing at Frank Skinner on my bingo card EVER,’;

Earlier this month, Romesh Ranganathan was left with his head in his hands as he was reunited with his childhood sweetheart on another episode of Michael McIntyre‘s Big Show.
The comedian and TV presenter gasped in embarrassment as he realised who the guest was, after being brought on stage by Michael.
The BBC comedy series often sees celebrity guests come face to face with a blast from the past in the ‘Remember Me?’ segment of the popular programme.
But Romesh, 47, looked less than impressed to come face to face with a former school crush – looking shocked and telling Michael: ‘This is so bad.’
‘Romesh, remember me?’ the mystery female guest asked as she was brought out on stage, leaving Romesh in a bewildered silence and smirking at host Michael.
‘Yes, I think I do,’ he responded, before putting his head down in his hands as he was offered up a ‘clue’ as to the guests’ identity by the comedian.

Michael teased: ‘Let me give you a clue anyway just to give you a bit more of a grasp on the history here,’ before revealing the word ‘field’ on the big screen.
‘This is so bad!’ Romesh said, prompting waves of laughter from the audience as the female guest giggled along in embarrassment.
‘We went to school together, and that’s it,’ Romesh continued, not wanting to give too much away, passing off the clue as being down to ‘playing cricket’ together.
‘Do you remember this person’s name?’ Michael then prompted, to which the Parents Evening host responded with raised eyebrows: ‘Sonya,’ to big applause.
As he pushed for more details about their relationship, Michael found out that the pair had last seen each other at school at the age of 16.
‘I think you know, Michael, don’t you?’ Romesh again pushed back, before hitting out, ‘Sonya, I’ve not seen you for a while, and I’m not happy about this.’
Michael went on to reveal another clue, which saw the word SNOG put up on the big screen behind where guest Sonya was standing.
‘If that doesn’t help, I think we have a photo,’ the comedian then added, surprising Romesh and Sonya with a school snap of them cuddled up together.

Sonya then explained: ‘We were in maths class together, and we were at the fifth year leavers party together – there was probably some flirting, mild flirting.
‘There was no heavy petting… He went for the kiss.’
Romesh then chimed in through giggles: ‘I suggested to Sonya that we go for a walk, and then when we, and there’s no other way to phrase this, but when we were in the woods I made my move.
‘Then what followed was, in theory, we were going out… for a week.’
Turning to Sonya, he continued: ‘Sorry to interrupt Michael, but Sonya, do you think about me?’ to which she savagely replied: ‘No.’
Michael McIntyre’s Big Show airs Saturday at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer
