INTER MILAN are reportedly in talks to sign Liverpool star Curtis Jones.
The Italian side want to strike a deal with the Reds to take Jones on loan until the end of the season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, negotiations are ongoing between the clubs.
The deal would include an option to buy the 25-year-old at the end.
However, the departure of midfielder Davide Frattesi could determine whether the Jones deal happens.
Frattesi, 26, is the subject of an offer from Nottingham Forest.
His exit would pave the way for the signing of Jones by the San Siro outfit.
Jones has been limited to a squad role under Liverpool boss Arne Slot this season.
Out of 20 Premier League games he has played in he has started only half.
He is yet to score in 29 games across all competitions.

Jones was seen having a disagreement with Slot on the touchline during Liverpool’s 1-1 draw at home to Burnley earlier this month.
While there has been speculation of a dressing room row after the Reds’ loss at Bournemouth last week.
Jones missed the midweek Champions League win over Qarabag through illness.
But Slot confirmed he is back in contention to play for Liverpool against Newcastle on Saturday evening.
Jones came through the Liverpool academy, making his top flight debut in 2019 which followed his Reds debut in the League Cup earlier that season.
He has won two Premier League titles with his hometown club.
