EMMERDALE’S latest instalment saw police discover two bodies on Moira Dingle’s farm and the shocking second identity has been revealed.
Viewers already know the first body is Anya, the young woman Ruby Milligan tried to help.
Anya had been caught up in a human trafficking scandal at the hands of Ray Walters and Celia Daniels, which ultimately led to her tragic death.
But who is the second body?
Spoilers have now revealed that in a jaw-dropping twist the second victim is Celia.
In next week’s episode, Moira cannot escape the dead bodies buried on her land, in the Yorkshire Dales, as cops arrest her for murder and begin questioning.
It would be fair to conclude the real killer must be Ray, he knew where Anya was so he could have easily dug up the grave and placed his murdered mum Celia in there too.
The double murder brings so many questions. Did Ray intentionally frame Moira? Was it even him or it that too easy?
Next week Moira faces the murder charges but how can she prove her innocence?
The grave on Moira’s land was found after Ruby contacted the police, convinced she had found a burial site.
Controversial villager Ruby chatted with wrestler Bear Wolf and he made a bizarre comment about Anya being “gone” and him looking for her the day Ruby and her husband Caleb Miligan had found him wandering in the field.
He previously mentioned a red ribbon that marked a spot, but he quickly acted confused and backtracked.
Ruby was sure this meant something and set her sights on finding the ribbon and Anya.
She eventually spotted the sinister ribbon tied to a tree branch, and was instantly horrified as she discovered the dug up ground obviously covering something ominous.
Fearing it was Anya, Ruby and Caleb watched as the police erected a forensic site around the grave.
And at the end of the episode, a teary-eyed Ruby was forced to turn away as they brought out not one but two body bags.
