Inside Joey Essex’s Love Island style mansion with life-size elephant goes on sale for almost £3m ahead of Dubai move

JOEY Essex has put his Love Island style mansion on the market for almost £3million ahead of his big move to Dubai.

The Sun previously revealed that the TV favourite, 35, was set to move to the United Arab Emirates after he was left terrified following a break-in at his home.

Burglars struck the property in 2022 and the incident was believed to have triggered Joey’s search for a move abroad.

And now The Sun can reveal that Joey’s four-bedroom Essex home in Chigwell is currently up for grabs £2,750,000.

Advertised on Rightmove, the house featured stunning cream interiors throughout.

There is a huge living room, with cream carpet and padded feature walls.

The bifolding doors to the rear garden provides easy access to the pool and bar.

The kitchen is sleek and modern with an breakfast bar in the middle and patio views of the garden.

There is even space for a dining room, a large master bedroom with the others rooms also a good size and a snooker room.

Joey also had his very own dressing room and wardrobe and ensuite.

If you step outside, the massive garden boasts a swimming pool, beach bar and bubbling hot tub.

There are also palm trees on either sides of the garden with a life size elephant statue and a very neat lawn.

The property is said to be located in one of Chigwell’s most sought after areas, which is reflected in the price.

But it looks like Joey has outgrown the house and is ready to live the life of luxury in Dubai.

Three years ago we revealed how Joey was “horrified and shaken” when raiders ransacked his pad while he was out with friends.

He called police after returning in the early hours to find an upstairs window open.

The source went on: “The incident at his house made him think about his life and what he wants from it.

“Joey has been looking at properties over the past few days and is weighing up his options. It is a really exciting time for him.”

Joey, who found fame on Towie in 2011, paid £1.6million for the pad in 2014 and he has repeatedly shown it off on social media.

Resembling a villa in Ibiza or Marbella, his outdoor pool is surrounded by palm trees, an elephant statue and four-poster sun loungers.

He also showed viewers around on MTV’s Cribs in 2019.

Fans got another glimpse of his impressive pad in 2020 during a video link with This Morning.

Viewers were just as impressed by Joey’s abode.

One posted online: “Joey Essex looks like he lives in Marbs with that ‘Garden’. Not a weed in sight.”

Another said: “Joey Essex has got a lovely house. It’s like he’s on the other side of the world.”
