LOVE Island fans were left concerned for Millie Court tonight as she broke down in tears over her split from Liam Reardon.
In a heart-to-heart with Curtis Pritchard, who she’s currently coupled with, Millie admitted she feared falling into old habits.
She told him: “I just really want it to happen naturally. I do enjoy our conversations together and I feel comfortable around you, but I’m still figuring out whether we’re compatible.”
Curtis then asked Millie if she felt it was a little too close to her breakup to start something new.
Liam and Millie split in September after struggling with the long distance between their respective homes in Essex and Wales.
“I know I don’t want to be with him,” Millie told Curtis. “But I can’t sit here and say that….”
She then burst into tears.
Curtis consoled her in his arms, telling her: “You’re better off crying, even if you’re crying about something I don’t want to hear about.”
Upset Millie continued: “I’ve gone with things because I wanted to make you happy and I’m falling into my old ways.”
Reassuring her it was OK, Curtis said: “Please do what’s best for you. Be selfish in here. Whether that hurts my feelings or not, be selfish.
“I am a big boy and I can take it.”
He added: “I still want to get to know you whether it’s just friendship level.
“I’ll give you space.”
Viewers questioned whether Millie should be in the villa given her outpouring of emotion.
One person said: “I think it was too soon for Millie to come onto Love Island! She needs some time to heal! Not everyone can move on so quickly!”
Another posted on X: “Millie.. you want to take things slow but you’re on Love Island? Girl you should’ve stayed at home.”
A third wrote: “Millie 100% only went on love island to try and make Liam jealous you can tell she isn’t over him but instead he’s loving life and he won’t take her back either after everything she has said about him to Charlie on tv.”
A fourth said: “Millie, not being funny but maybe go home and/or go to therapy instead of Love Island ????”
