Coming into the final matchday, Liverpool are third in the table.
But finishing in the top eight is vital in order to skip a two-legged tie in the play-off round and make it directly through to the last 16.

Liverpool sit fourth on 15 points but just three points separate them from Juventus in 15th.
It means that defeat against the Azerbaijani side at Anfield on Wednesday will likely see them finish in a play-off round spot, outside the top eight.
A draw could be enough for them to progress directly into the last 16.
But that would depend on results elsewhere as several other sides could leapfrog Arne Slot‘s men should they only get a point against Qarabag.
Liverpool know a win will be enough to secure a top eight finish and likely a top four finish.
That is hugely important as clubs who finish in the top four in the Champions League table are given home second leg ties in the last 16 and quarter-finals.
