RACHEL Reeves has offered a financial lifeline to pubs worth £100 million amid fears of a jobs bloodbath and closures following a Budget tax grab.
Landlords will receive the enhanced package after many feared going out of business but many are still vowing to keep Labour MPs barred.

The new package involves pubs in England getting 15 per cent off their business rates next year and with that amount frozen for two years after that.
It could also see opening hours extended until 2am during the World Cup and bars may stay serving until the end of Eurovision to boost trade.
The sector broadly welcome the support package following the u-turn as it should be worth £1,600 to the average pub.
But the Tories attacked the changes as “too little, too late” to save the ailing industry with Shadow Chancellor Sir Mel Stride blasting the Chancellor for providing a “temporary sticking plaster”.
And some landlords have said that while the support is “welcomed” it “doesn’t go far enough” with others blasting it as a “token measure”.
So, is Reeves’ pub rescue too little too late? Have your say in our exclusive poll.
