
A MAJOR blaze has erupted at a huge 13-storey building in a busy city centre – with 60 firefighters deployed to tackle the fire.
Emergency crews were scrambled to the inferno in Blackwall, east London, after it broke out in the early hours.

Eight fire engines rushed to the tower block on Nutmeg Lane just before 5am.
London Fire Brigade confirmed an LED acid battery fire had broken out in a data centre building.
Hundreds of batteries were destroyed as the blaze ripped through a basement storage room.
LFB said: “Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were called to a fire at a data centre building on Nutmeg Lane in Blackwall.
“A small part of a basement battery room, storing around 200 LED acid batteries in a 13 storey building, was destroyed by fire.
“The Brigade’s 999 Control officers received their first call about the fire at 0452 and deployed crews from Poplar, Millwall, Plaistow, Stratford, East Ham and East Greenwich fire stations.
“The fire was under control by 0643. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
