The Traitors fans have been left convinced they have ‘worked out’ how Rachel will win the series with a ‘secret’ tactic – if she remains in the game tonight.
The BBC show, which is hosted by Claudia Winkleman, will draw to a close on its fourth series with the final episode airing tonight (January 23).
In the penultimate instalment, viewers were left on a cliffhanger with Rachel Duffy, a Traitor, and James Baker, a Faithful, both at risk of banishment.
They each received three votes from their fellow players – leaving them tied and having to play a game of chance in order to survive.
Their fate will come down to the rare Chests of Chance, with one box containing a shield inside that would save either Traitor Rachel or Faithful James.
While the result wasn’t revealed on the show, which ended on a tense cliffhanger, viewers of the show are certain they’ve worked out how Rachel could make her comeback, if she survives the game of chance, and WIN.

Taking to Reddit, devoted fans discussed how Rachel might navigate having the fingers of her fellow players pointed towards her to get back in the running, and take home the £120,000 jackpot.
According to Daily Star, they penned: ‘Jack has already changed his vote from Rachel to James, showing she has somewhat convinced him.
‘Granted, he may still have doubt, but as we’ve seen all season, he is the kind of faithful who can be swayed, especially by someone like Stephen.
‘Let’s say James goes after the chest of chance… five left. Next, Stephen and Rachel convince Jack to vote out Jade. There are so few of them left this is a very likely possibility, and Rachel survives one more round.
‘She has tons of suspicion on her for sure and logic says she goes after James BUT we have seen it before where things can change at the drop of a hat especially when numbers and trust is so low.’
The fan went on to theorise that with four contestants remaining, if James was out the picture, that Stephen and Rachel would likely persuade Jack that Jade was a Traitor.
The ‘secret’ tactic would come into play by using Jack’s ‘total belief in Stephen’, with the viewer musing Rachel could use that to convince Jack to vote against Faraaz.
It would then leave the Traitors victorious, and walking away with the money.

Viewers think they have sussed it out who stays following the Chests of Chance, and hit out at ‘sloppy editing’ by the BBC in the episode on Thursday
Fans already know that Rachel is prepared to stop at nothing to take home the prize, saying ahead of the show: ‘I will do anything to win.
‘Nothing’s off the table. I’m very good at knowing the difference between reality and a game. I’m really competitive in challenges, so I’ll do whatever I can.’
It comes after viewers think they have sussed it out who stays following the Chests of Chance, and hit out at ‘sloppy editing’ by the BBC in the episode on Thursday.
One wrote on X, formerly Twitter: ‘Rachel’s eyes are looking at a object in a box, James’ are looking at the box in its entirety. Sloppy editing… #TheTraitors.’
Another remarked: ‘#TheTraitors the last time they used the box of chance. The shield was at the back. Surely they can’t have put the shield in the same box this time.
‘The producers of the show should have moved it to the front nearest the contestants. Rachel cleverly chose the box at the rear.’
A third said: ‘Rachel got the shield btw, you can see her split reaction where her eyes raise.. you heard it here first #TheTraitorsUK #TheTraitors.’
However, a fourth disagreed that it was an obvious conclusion, as they wrote of the moment on screen: ‘Nah don’t think you can tell.’

Earlier in the episode, Roxy became the latest contestant to be ‘murdered’ on the BBC show
Fans will ultimately find out the outcome of this tense banishment at the beginning of Friday’s final.
Daily Mail have contacted the BBC for comment.
Earlier in the episode, Roxy became the latest contestant to be ‘murdered’ on the BBC show.
The recruiter, 32, entertained viewers after epically failing to spot who had the infamous hooded cloaks during her stint in the show.
In her exit speech, Roxy once again proved she was hopeless at the game as she told the camera she would love Rachel Duffy or Stephen Libby to win, mistakenly believing them to be Faithfuls.
At breakfast the following morning, Claudia revealed Roxy had been hiding a secret – her mother was fellow contestant Judy, 60.
After being served her murder letter, Roxy said: ‘I kind of knew it today because I went so hard at the table, I think I was going for the Traitors and I think they know it. But, honestly, I’m so proud of myself for getting this far.
‘I would for Stephen or Rachel to win. I think they’re both amazing people and I think they – hopefully – have been faithful and honest throughout this process but yeah, it’s been a ball.’
At the breakfast table, James was reeling from Roxy’s absence. He asked: ‘How am I so wrong. I’ve been shouting [Roxy and Matt] from the hilltops the whole game.’
The Traitors final airs tonight at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer
