Donald Trump‘s son Barron has won praise for his ‘classy’ response to a British 911 operator who said he was rude when he was trying to save his female friend’s life.
The President’s youngest son, 19, called the cops after witnessing a savage attack on the woman in London last January, a trial in the UK heard on Wednesday.
Matvei Rumiantsev, 22, allegedly flew into a jealous rage after learning that Barron had tried phoning her earlier that evening. He then called Trump’s son back on FaceTime as he punched and strangled the woman, jurors heard.
In Barron’s frantic call to Britain’s 999 emergency service, the operator grew frustrated with the President’s son as he implored cops to rescue his ‘close friend.’
The operator said: ‘Can you stop being rude and actually answer my questions. If you want to help the person, you’ll answer my questions clearly and precisely, thank you. So how do you know her?’
Barron, despite his alarm, told the operator: ‘I’m so sorry for being rude.’
The magnanimous response by the President’s son, who did not reveal his identity during the call, was noted by social media users today.
‘Class act by Barron,’ wrote one user on X. ‘Calm under pressure, smart enough not to escalate, and quick to get real help. Shows great character and solid upbringing. Respect.’

Another likened the young Trump to the President, writing: ‘Common sense, calm under pressure, finding a way to help and alert police, caring enough to try and prevent harm. Traits from his father and how he probably would have handled a problem. Good job, Barron.’
A third stated: ‘The operator who told Barron not to be rude, in my opinion, should lose their job. Completely incompetent response given the situation. Only acceptable strategy is to calm the caller.’
The victim also praised Barron, telling jurors: ‘He helped save my life. That call was like a sign from God at that moment.’
Rumiantsev is on trial at London’s Snaresbrook Crown Court for allegedly raping the woman on two occasions, assault, actual bodily harm and obstruction of justice.
Police rushed to his home in Poplar, east London, in the early hours of January 18, 2025, after Barron called 999 at 2.23am.
‘I’m calling from the US, uh I just got a call from a girl, you know, she’s getting beat up,’ Barron told the operator.
Russian national Matvei Rumiantsev is accused of repeatedly punching Barron’s female friend in a flat in London while President Trump’s son was on a FaceTime call to her from the US
‘This was happening about eight minutes ago. I just figured out how to, how to call someone. Uh, uh it’s really an emergency.’
The President’s son had watched on FaceTime as Rumiantsev allegedly grabbed the woman by the hair and pushed her to the floor, shouting ‘you are not worth anything.’
Rumiantsev called the woman a ‘slut’ and a ‘whore’ and kicked her in the stomach when she was on the floor, jurors heard.
The woman told officers she had been slapped, punched, kicked and strangled during the assault.
She told cops that the Russian would deliberately get her drunk and have sex with her without consent.
She said she had asked him why he did this to her and he responded: ‘You never want to do this with me so I make you drink and do this to you.’
In a later follow-up email with cops, Barron wrote: ‘I was told by the victim, who I am very close with, that this individual was giving her difficulty for a long time.’
Fascination surrounds Barron’s role in saving the woman as he remains remarkably private despite being the son of the most famous man in the world.
The six-foot-seven college student is Trump’s fifth child, and the President’s only child with his third wife, Melania.
The young Trump told investigators that he met the girl ‘on social media.’

Melania has keenly guarded Barron’s privacy ever since Trump’s first term
Barron broke up with an unidentified girlfriend in November, according to reports, and is currently single.
His peers at New York University’s Stern School of Business have previously told news outlets that he is a ‘ladies man.’
Melania has keenly guarded Barron’s privacy ever since Trump’s first term and sources close to the family often deny or downplay reports about his life.
The vacuum of information has led to vicious gossip linking him to toxic influencers from the far-right ‘incel’ community.
The New York Times last month reported that Andrew Tate fostered a relationship Barron to bolster his efforts to flee a sex trafficking investigation in Romania.
Barron and Tate spoke over a Zoom call in 2024, according to mutual friend Justin Waller, who says he was also dialed in. Tate, who now lives in Florida, reportedly told Barron that the criminal charges were an attempt to silence him.
The White House declined to comment.
