England’s World Cup 2026 away kit ‘leaked’ with Three Lions set to return to traditional design

ENGLAND has seen its World Cup 2026 away kit reportedly leaked online.

The tournament next summer will be the fourth time the Three Lions have worn a kit manufactured by Nike, with the first dating back to 2014.

The sports brand is signed up for one more tournament after this summer, meaning it will design the kits for the 2030 World Cup as well.

But this year Nike has gone for a tried and tested classic design which would see England sport a golden spot above the crest for the first time in 13 years.

The star, signifying the 1966 World Cup win, had been white or silver in previous kits.

A leaked home kit emerged in September showing off a clean design following the backlash seen with the apparently “woke” coloured St Georges flag design for the 2024 European Championships.

The away kit will follow the same principle, according to pictures obtained by Footy Headlines.

A full red kit with navy trim and white accents alongside a centralised badge has been shown on the site.

The kit also has a subtle but intricate jacquard pattern woven into the fabric featuring imagery of lions and stars.

England‘s away kit for the 2024 Euros was a navy colour with the badge over the heart.

The move to make the badge central has not been seen on an England away kit since 2008, when the team was sponsored by Umbro.

England kick off the campaign next summer against Croatia, before clashes with Ghana and Panama.

The Jules Rimet victory spearheaded by Sir Geoff Hurst and Co turns 60 this year.

And fans who have seen the current England team make two major finals since 2020 will be hoping the return of a red kit can be a good luck char at the world’s biggest sports tournament.
