Mum-of-two Lyndsay said she’s “slightly obsessed” with side hustles and even meets with other mums to discuss ideas for bringing in extra income for things like holidays.

In the comment section of her @lyndsay.and.the.girls Instagram page, she wrote: “5 of my fave side hustles to earn £500 a month!

“These won’t earn you a fortune, but they don’t take long, and it all soon adds up! I love to put side hustle money away for things like holidays, days out, or just having that little safety net tucked away.”

Her first suggestion was Macadam, which is where you can earn money by playing games and taking surveys.

She added: “This is one of my favourites because I’m connected with school mum friends, so it feels like playing together while earning money too.”

Everup is also a great way of collecting cashback when shopping in stores and online.

Lyndsay wrote: “This app has the best rates I’ve seen, plus fun games to win extra bonuses too!

“You can use it everywhere, and it really does add up!”

Another option is to use your cashback to help pay off your mortgage.

Lyndsay recommends Sprive, which she urged her followers to download.

“Earn cashback and put it straight onto your mortgage as an overpayment in seconds.

“This app is so handy, and when you’ve see how much you save in interest by overpaying, it’s wild.

“So, so worth doing,” she added.

If you’ve got a little extra time on your hands, Lyndsay suggests getting involved in market research.

She warned that these take longer, but in return, you get a better pay day.

Lyndsay wrote: “I’ve done studies around cleaning products, foods, fitness routines and more. They can be really fun and unique too.”

She said her most satisfying side hustle is selling clothes and other household items on Vinted.

“Of course, I love to sell on Vinted. Getting cash for stuff you no longer need and decluttering is always satisfying! I’m aiming to make around £200 to £250 this month,” she added.

“I love the sound of Macadam and your side hustle meetings too,” added another.

“Such good ideas here, Lyndsay,” echoed a third.

Lyndsay recently revealed her top tip for raking in the cash on Vinted.

“The trick is simple, but it works,” she told her 53k followers on her @lyndsay.and.the.girls Instagram page.

“Don’t put things in the cupboard to be forgotten, leave the bag out where you can see it and work through it,” she said.

Lyndsay shared a photo of a clear plastic bag full to the brim of clothing and various items.

She said that little and often is fine when it comes to sorting through her Vinted stock.

“It’s so satisfying when you see that bag of stuff is gone, especially if you’ve been falling over it for weeks.

“And the money is in your account instead,” she added.
