I serve my daughter posh lobster, filet mignon & caviar in her packed lunch

IN most kids’ lunchboxes, you’ll find a sandwich, a piece of fruit, and perhaps a DairyLea Dunker.

But that couldn’t be further from the truth for Tyler Yan’s daughter, who tucks into Michelin-star-inspired grub on her school lunchbreak.

Tyler has earned himself 595k followers for sharing the lavish contents of his child’s lunchbox, including filet mignon, caviar, and lobster tail.

Despite the extreme effort that goes into his daughter’s luxurious lunches, not everyone agrees with his approach and says she’s “crying out for a KFC.”

In one recent video, he layered thinly sliced medium rare filet mignon topped with vegan sour cream into her lunchbox.

He then added a dollop of caviar and sprinkled the meat with chives.

In a separate compartment, he served up some crispy smashed potatoes and sauteed asparagus.

And of course, his little one had her own mini dessert of cherry plums and dark chocolate to cleanse the palate.

His video gathered 362k likes and over 5k comments, with many praising his cooking skills.

Other videos include a lunchbox filled with a rack of lamb, which he’d cooked to perfection and combined with mashed potatoes infused with truffle oil.

And of course, he made sure to add a generous portion of caviar to the spuds, which he insists adds a salty flavour.

His daughter also enjoys a selection of seafood that you’d expect to see on a five-star restaurant menu.

In recent months, she has been treated to King crab legs served with a side of shiitake mushroom risotto, salmon Nigiri with a seaweed salad, and lobster tail.

Tyler’s comment sections are constantly full to the brim with followers asking for him to make their packed lunches – or joking that they’d like to be his daughter.

“Where do I apply to be your daughter?” one jested.

“No boy will ever be able to impress her, and I’m here for it,” another wrote.

“Hello. I am your daughter, this is my lunch,” laughed a third.

“Do you want another daughter?” echoed another.

But not everyone appreciated Tyler’s bougie lunchboxes.

One wrote: “Is your daughter a 67-year-old food critic?”

Another questioned whether his child actually eats the food, asking: “I’m curious how this looks after it’s opened and how much the little one eats from the plate.”

But Tyler replied with: “9X out of 10 it’s empty!

Another scoffed: “The poor kid is screaming out for a KFC.”

Mocking Tyler’s lavish meals, one wrote: ” It’s good but not the best, if I’m honest. I packed my daughter 200 grams of dried unicorn flank, with sweet potatoes and breadfruit directly from French Polynesia, and a piece of Yumari King Melon from Japan. Also, she has to have a bottle of her favorite Arctic stream water.”

NHS new guidelines on kids’ lunchboxes

FOR the first time ever, the government has issued official guidance on lunchbox contents in a desperate attempt to promote healthier eating amongst children.

According to the NHS, the majority of people in the UK “eat and drink too many calories” and their diet is too high in saturated fat, sugar and salt.

Now, via the NHS Better Health website, parents have been given a list of “lunchbox recipes” to help move away from processed foods, and towards giving their children more fruit and vegetables,

The advice has been posted on the NHS Better Health website, which also shares what it calls “healthier lunchbox recipes” that are ”quick, easy” to prepare.

According to the first-ever guidance, parents should “always add veg”.

The NHS stated: “Cherry tomatoes, or sticks of carrot, cucumber, celery and peppers all count towards their five A Day.”
