Another Tory shadow minister defects to Reform just days after Robert Jenrick joined Nigel Farage

Conservative Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs Andrew Rosindell has defected to Reform UK.

The defection marks the second loss of a shadow minister in the space of a week following Robert Jenrick‘s announcement on Thursday.

Rosindell, MP for Romford, previously served as Shadow Minister for Home Affairs between 2007 – 2010 and has been a member of the Conservatives since he was 14.

Leader of Reform UK Nigel Farage MP said: ‘Andrew is a great patriot. The Tories’ lies and hypocrisy over the Chagos Islands betrayal has tipped him over the edge, and we are delighted to welcome him to our ranks.

‘He will be a great addition to our team ahead of the elections on May 7th.’
