TEMPLEGATE tackles a brilliant Sunday card at Windsor looking to bash the bookies.

SPECIAL JOHN (3.35 Windsor, nap)
Sam Thomas has proved himself a canny trainer of all sorts of jumpers but it’s his long-distance stayers who look especially good. And this progressive seven-year-old – who remains lightly raced – is more than capable of landing a hat-trick. He was strong at the line when winning at Wincanton last time out and looks likely to hit a new level again upped in trip, despite rocketing up the handicap ratings.
MISS CYNTHIA (2.05 Fakenham, nb)
Needed her debut for the Skeltons after eight months off when midfield at Kempton last time. She can show a lot more here on this second outing since a wind operation.
WADE OUT (1.20 Windsor, treble)
Showed real guts when winning a Cheltenham Listed last time out. Sean Bowen had to push him for two of the three miles but he kept delivering and Windsor’s figure of eight can keep him interested.
