The Masked Singer viewers were left baffled by the ITV show’s Spooktacular Special on Saturday night.
Fans shared their confusion on X and branded the Halloween theme ‘weird’ in January.
This weekend the judging panel, and their special guest, all looked unrecognisable as they wore some very spooky outfits.
Host Joel Dommett opened the show in a Wednesday costume while special judge Ben Shephard dressed up as The Wizard Of Oz’s Scarecrow.
Judge Maya Jama wowed in a plunging black gown while Davina McCall rocked a see-through catsuit.
And Jonathan Ross, 65, pulled out all the stops to make sure he looked just like Frankenstein.

With green face paint, matching latex gloves and a silver suit, the broadcaster looked worlds away from his usual self.
Funnyman Mo Gilligan, 37, looked very different dressed up in a Teen Wolf inspired outfit consisted of a bomber jacket, checkered shirt and a pair of converse.

Last Saturday The Masked Singer viewers were left stunned when John Lydon was revealed as Yak.
Yak failed to secure enough votes to remain in the competition and was ultimately eliminated by the judges after performing Olivia Newton-John’s 80s hit Physical.
Following the unveiling, viewers flocked to X, formerly Twitter, to express their shock at John appearing on the show.
