THE son of Putin’s wardog has been left unconscious and fighting for his life after a massive car crash.
Adam Kadyrov – son of Chechen leader Ramzan – was rushed to hospital following the smash on Friday.
The Chechen opposition Telegram channel NIYSO reported the 18-year-old had been unconscious and was undergoing resuscitation.
Kadyrov had been travelling in a motorcade through the Russian city of Grozny “at a high speed” when the motorcade “suddenly encountered an obstacle”, according to NIYSO.
The cars subsequently collided, one after the other, leaving the teen with serious injuries.
According to local media outlet Kavkaz.Realii, a person travelling with Kadyrov said: “The roads to the hospital are closed because Adam has been brought there.”
“He is in intensive care and unconscious,” they said.
Another person told the outlet “we are receiving reports that there are casualties, but the commotion is mainly because of Adam.”
Kadyrov has since been taken to intensive care and is being prepared to be transferred to Moscow, NIYOSO reported.
Kadyrov is the teenage son and most well known child of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov.
In 2023, the then 15-year-old was awarded the title of Hero of the Chechen Republic, following a video surfacing online of Adam beating a 19-year-old Ukrainian Mykyta Zhuravel, for allegedly burning the Quran.
Putin’s henchman said he had been very proud of his son’s actions.
The younger Kadyrov has gone on to receive various awards and hold several high powered positions in Chechnya, including secretary of the Chechen Security Council and overseer of the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The accident comes after reports surfaced that his father had also been hospitalised on New Year’s Day.
Following a meeting where the notorious Chechen leader, 48, begged Mad Vlad to let him quit, his health deteriorated sharply, and he was taken by ambulance to the Central Clinical Hospital of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.
A source told Novaya Gazeta Evropa: “In Moscow they barely managed to resuscitate him, after which he returned home and has not appeared in public since.”
There has been no update on his condition.
The “wardog” has been accused of violating human rights, including involvement in kidnapping and torture.
Reports say he had been in the Russian capital for a meeting of the State Council chaired by Putin.
They claimed that there had been no contingency plan for the meeting, so it had gone ahead without anyone representing Chechnya.
Putin’s wardog was hospitalised in Grozny’s private Aimedi clinic last year, and his health is said to have worsened since then.
He said in a live broadcast: “I sometimes have nervous breakdowns.
“A constant feeling of tension, as if I were sitting on an electric current.”
Some reports have said Kadyrov is terminally ill from “pancreatic necrosis”, and requires regular treatment in the Kremlin Clinic in Moscow.
Kadyrov has denied this, insisting he is “absolutely healthy”.
The warlord – who has been living a lavish life and flaunting his wealth around – was first diagnosed with a mystery condition in January 2019.
