EX-PREMIER LEAGUE star Morgan Schneiderlin has landed a new job working for Chelsea’s owners BlueCo.
It comes as the 36-year-old Frenchman returns to boyhood club Strasbourg days after Liam Rosenior‘s exit to join sister club Chelsea.

The former Southampton, Manchester United and Everton star will take up the role of Loan Manager at the Ligue 1 outfit.
A club statement on the move said: “The Racing Club of Strasbourg Alsace formalizes the arrival of Morgan Schneiderlin to the position of Loan Manager.”
The statement said his new responsibilities would include, “the daily monitoring of players on loan in other clubs”.
It added he will work closely with sporting director David Weir in promoting the development of young talent and future players.
On his return the 15-cap France international said: “Returning to Racing is a tremendous joy and a great source of pride.
“It’s the club that trained me, and it holds a special place in my heart.
“My goal is to be there for the players, to support them, to help them in their development and to maintain a strong connection with Racing.”

He joins former Wolves and Bournemouth gaffer Gary O’Neil as a recent appointment at the club, who currently sit seventh in Ligue 1.
Schneiderlin came through the ranks of Strasbourg’s academy and made five first-team appearances before he was snapped up by Southampton in 2008 as Strasbourg were relegated from the top flight.

The midfielder then moved to Man Utd in 2015 for £25million.

But the move failed to work out and having seen a dramatic reduction in playing time with the managerial change to Jose Mourinho from Louis van Gaal and he was sold to Everton in January 2017.
He played in England for the Toffees for a further three-and-a-half seasons, eventually returning to his homeland to join Nice.

Strasbourg supporters’ federation statement on Liam Rosenior
“The transfer of Liam Rosenior marks another humiliating step in Racing’s subservience to Chelsea. For two and a half years, along with others, we have been trying to raise the alarm about this.
“The problem goes far beyond the mid-season sporting impact and the ambitions of a young coach. It is structural; the future of French club football is at stake.
“Every additional contortion by Marc Keller, every extra minute spent at the helm of the club, is an insult to the tremendous work accomplished before 2023. What was seen by many as an outrageous move last September increasingly looks like sound advice: he must leave. Now.
“The FSRCS will coordinate closely with the three other associations actively fighting against multiple ownership, as well as all people of goodwill, to define the next steps.
“Go Racing!”
