CONOR MCGREGOR claims his wedding had to be moved at the last minute due to a request from Vatican chiefs.
The UFC superstar tied the knot with long-time girlfriend Dee Devlin in a Vatican City church last December.
The pair, 37 and 38 respectively, got married at a church just behind St Peter’s Basilica.
The quaint Chiesa di Santo Stefano degli Abissini was the venue for the McGregors’ wedding on December 12.
Conor and Dee became man and wife at 12:12pm, a time the MMA icon claims was the result of the ceremony being moved at short notice.
He wrote on X: “I married the love of my life, Dee, on the 12th of the 12th at exactly 12:12pm.
“We wed in the Chapel of Santo Stefano degli Abissini — the Vatican’s oldest church.
“The date was precisely 151 days after my birthday. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ — His name adds up to 151 in gematria. As does my own. Jesus Christ = 151. Conor McGregor = 151.
‘These divine alignments, the wedding on 12/12 at exactly 12:12pm in the Vatican’s oldest church, exactly 151 days after my birthday, tying into the numerology of my name matching that of Jesus Christ, and even the connection to Psalm 151 (a powerful, personal testament of David’s journey and victory through faith) are unmistakable signs of divine orchestration that I had no idea about.
“The exact 12:12pm timing was not my plan at all. A letter from the Vatican arrived just a week prior, requiring the ceremony to be moved earlier.”

“It is clear this was not coincidence. God’s hand guided every detail, confirming His blessing on our union and His presence in my life.
“Serving God is my number one priority.
“Then my wife. Then my children. Then my parents. I love You, God.
“I love you, Dee McGregor. I love you, Conor Jr., Croía, Rían, Mack.
“I love you, Mam and Dad. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU GOD.”
The number 12 is a highly significant one for former two-weight UFC champion Conor.
The Irishman grew up in the Crumlin area of Dublin, which has the D12 post-code.
And the most emphatic victory of his career against MMA great Jose Aldo, who he KO’d in 13 seconds, took place on December 12, 2015.
A letter from the Vatican arrived just a week prior, requiring the ceremony to be moved earlier.”

His former Whiskey brand was also called Proper No.12.
McGregor is gearing up to make his long-awaited cage comeback later this year at the promotion’s White House card on June 14.
The Dubliner hasn’t set foot inside the octagon since breaking his left leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier nearly five years ago.
He was supposed to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in June 2024 but withdrew from their Sin City showdown with a broken left pinky toe.
Should McGregor fight on the White House card, the bout will be his first since he was found civilly liable for assaulting Nikita Hand at a Dublin hotel in 2018.
McGregor lost his appeal of the verdict, which was turned in by a jury of his peers at Dublin’s High Court last November.
And last December, the Supreme Court rejected McGregor’s bid for further appeal.
