A NEO-Nazi who plotted to kill a politician has been disfigured at the jail in which Lostprophets paedo Ian Watkins was murdered.
White supremacist Jack Renshaw — caged for life over his plan to kill ex-Labour MP Rosie Cooper — was “striped” in a savage attack outside his cell at HMP Wakefield.
A fellow inmate is said to have targeted him over his far-right views and slashed him with a makeshift weapon, leaving Renshaw screaming in agony.
Justice bosses are understood to be investigating rapist Iain Ochieng, 32, over the ferocious assault at the West Yorkshire jail.
A source said: “This was a vicious and pre-planned attack and Renshaw was lucky to survive. He was slashed with a makeshift ‘shank’ knife and left with a gaping wound running the length of his face.
“There was blood everywhere. Guards rushed to the scene and stopped it being worse than it was — but it was already pretty bad.”
Renshaw, of Skelmersdale, Lancs was jailed for life – with a minimum 20-year term – in 2019 after admitting preparing an act of terrorism.
His trial heard he wanted to “replicate” the murder Labour politician Jo Cox in 2016.
He made a Nazi salute towards supporters as he was led from the dock to cells.
The attack, on December 9, happened two months after paedo rocker Watkins, 48, was killed. He was stabbed in the neck on October 11.
Two prison inmates – Rashid Gedel, 25, and Samuel Dodsworth, 43 – have appeared in court charged with the Lostprophets singer’s murder.
