THE upcoming launch of Love Island All Stars has been CANCELLED after wildfires close to the show’s South African villa threw the show into chaos.

The Sun first revealed earlier today that the fires had caused a disruption to filming and now ITV have confirmed the show has been postponed owing to health and safety concerns.

In a statement, ITV said: “Further to a production evacuation owing to ongoing wildfires in the area, our assessment of the location site has concluded that filming will need to be postponed.

Health and safety is our greatest priority and will always come first, and therefore the transmission of Love Island: All Stars will be delayed until a date to be confirmed.”

The contestants including Maya Jama were expected to start production today but ITV bosses pulled the plug.

Now, following further assessment, the show will no longer be able to go ahead as planned.
