MANCHESTER UNITED could let Sekou Kone go out on loan for the rest of the season – after allowing him to play in a friendly for Lausanne-Sport.
The wonderkid, 19, has not been in the first-team picture at Old Trafford this term.

Kone was stretchered off with a horror injury during the United Under-21s’ National League Cup showdown with Tamworth in August.
And he has been given the chance to spend time with Lausanne-Sport, where Enzo Kana-Biyik is also on loan from the Red Devils.
Peter Zeidler, the Swiss Super League side’s boss, has refused to rule out landing Kone on a temporary basis.
The German tactician, 63, said: “He’s with us. We can observe him closely.
“We’ll make a decision, just like we did last summer with Enzo Kana-Biyik, a very good young player who improved a lot in just a few months with us despite his early season injury.
“We saw his quality, particularly with his assist against Fiorentina. We have good experience with Enzo, so why not with Sekou Kone?
“But to say today whether he’ll come, I don’t know. It depends on several factors.
“We’ll decide between January 15 and February 15, as with all players.”

There have been reports that United talent Kone was involved in Lausanne-Sport’s 4-2 win against Neuchatel Xamax on Thursday.
And the midfielder is spending time away from Old Trafford to see if a loan would suit all parties.
United have strong ties to Lausanne-Sport because they are owned by Ineos.
Kone joined the Red Devils for £1million from Guidars, in his homeland of Mali, in 2024.
The teenager has been limited to three appearances for United’s U21s this season because of spending more than two months on the treatment table.
