CRISTIAN ROMERO has blasted the Tottenham Hotspur hierarchy for “lies” in a now-deleted post on social media.
The defender hit out at the club following the 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
The Cherries snatched all three points as Antoine Semenyo scored in the 95th minute in what will likely be his last appearance for the club.
For Spurs, the defeat is their eighth in the Premier League this season leaving them 14th in the table
Romero, 27, was left fuming after the game and took to social media to hit out at the hierarchy at the club.
He claimed that “other people” only come out when “things are going well” and “tell lies.
He made the statement in a caption on an Instagram post for his 5.1million followers on the platform.
He wrote: “Apologies to all fans of you who follow us everywhere, who are always there and will continue to be.
“We are responsible, there’s no doubt about that.I am the first
“But we will keep facing up to it and trying to turn the situation around, for ourselves and for the club.

“At times like this, it should be other people coming out to speak, but they don’t — as has been happening for several years now.
“They only show up when things are going well, to tell a few lies.
“We’ll stay here, working, sticking together and giving our all to turn things around.
“Especially at times like this, keeping quiet, working harder and moving forward all toghether, is part of football.
“All together, it will be easier.”
The post had support from team-mates Pedro Porro and Richarlison, who replied in the comment section.
Porro replied: “Amen. Keep going brother. We have a lot of battles left.”
Richarlison commented with a praying hands emoji in agreement.
However, the post has since been edited by Romero as he has deleted the “to tell a few lies” section.
The stunning claim comes after unrest between the fans and Spurs players on the South Coast.
Romero’s fellow defender Micky van de Ven appeared to offer out one fan while Palhinha and Porro were pulled away from the travelling supporters.
Manager Frank was also caught in an awkward position of drinking out of an Arsenal cup before the match.
