OLIVER GLASNER is under consideration to become the next Manchester United coach.
United figures admire Glasner’s work at Crystal Palace over the past two years and the Austrian is out of contract at Selhurst Park in the summer.

Glasner guided Palace to a maiden FA Cup triumph against Manchester City last season but they are currently 14th in the Premier League table.
The 51-year-old is unlikely to sign a renewal at Palace and Glasner has regularly expressed his frustration over their lack of recruitment in the summer.
Glasner almost always uses the same 3-4-2-1 system that Ruben Amorim was reluctant to abandon during his 14 months at United.
Senior United sources have stressed that they will continue to recruit players who are versatile and capable of playing in multiple systems.
Insiders have reiterated that the head coach will not sit above the club’s leadership team, offering further backing for director of football Jason Wilcox.
Glasner is one of three Premier League managers that United have monitored, including Andoni Iraola at Bournemouth and Brighton coach Fabian Hurzeler.
United sources have stressed that they have not directly approached any possible replacements for Amorim.
