
A MAN has been charged in connection with a murder on New Year’s day.
Scott Silkstone, 51, is accused of killing 55-year-old Dwayne Tuohey in the alleged attack in Leeds.
Cops attended reports of suspicious activity outside Gargrave Court, in Burmantoft in the morning.
When they arrived at around 8am, they found Dwayne seriously injured and lying on the floor.
He was rushed to hospital but died a short while later.
Silkstone, of no fixed abode, was arrested in connection with the attack
The force have now charged him.
He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates’ Court this morning.
A man and woman, both aged 42, were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
However they have both been released without charge.
