Midweek was a statement win for the Gunners and they now need to ensure they kick on again from it.
Aston Villa were on an 11-game winning run before being blown away at the Emirates, albeit having been on the end of a couple of dubious refereeing decisions.
But it was a big three points for the Gunners which ensured they ended 2025 on top.

Speaking of struggles, Bournemouth earned a good draw at Chelsea in midweek but all it did was extend their incredible winless run.
After a stunning start to the campaign, the Cherries are now TEN games without a win in all competitions and have slowly started to sink down the table and now find themselves in 15th.
Star man, Antoine Semenyo appeared to be waving goodbye to the traveling fans too, which won’t do their chances of picking up a result here any good.
