GLADIATORS star The Giant is changing his last name in the wake of his painful divorce from wife Katie, we can reveal.
The towering bodybuilder, whose real name was Jamie Christian-Johal, says from now on he wants to be known by his birth name, Jamie Bigg.

Addressing the breakdown of his marriage – which The Sun exclusively revealed last month – he said hitting 40 and being diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) were other factors behind the change.
And he said he only started using the name Johal when his mum married his step-dad when he was still a child.
Father-of-two Jamie said: “At the age four, I lost my identity, my name became Johal when my mum got married.
“For many years, I hid behind my physique as a bodybuilder and even double barrelled my surname when I got married.
“I then went on a TV show and became a character and now that character is more well-known than I am. So who am I? Who is Jamie?
“Turning 40, getting my ADHD diagnosis and going through a divorce, really reinforced the need and desire to have my own identity again.
“At birth, believe it or not, my name was Jamie Bigg – B-I-G-G.
“So in 2026, I will be reclaiming my birth name and making some big changes.
“I want to move forward with the greatest amount of honesty and transparency in all walks of my life.
“So whether that’s speaking about my ADHD diagnosis and journey, or helping you with your fitness goals, being the best father possible, or just being a better human overall, I will be entering 2026 as me, Jamie Bigg.”
We previously revealed that Jamie had split from wife Katie, 41, earlier this year blaming the pressures of bodybuilding and fame.
The couple unfollowed each other on social media and deleted most of the pictures showing them during happier times.
Katie has also dropped the last name Johal and now goes by Katie Christian on her Hormone Healer account online.
She has promised to “date the s**t” out of herself in 2026 and spent Christmas “healing” with her daughter in Prague in the Czech Republic.
In an emotional post accompanying the pictures and video she posted on Instagram, she wrote: “Someone incredible once said, look at what you’re going through not as something breaking you, but as something shaping you.
“If you’re walking through loss, a breakup, an ending you didn’t choose, you don’t need to be strong, you need to stay present.”
