Lily Allen‘s love rival, ‘Madeline’, has claimed she suffered ‘intense anxiety’ and lived the ‘lowest lows’ in 2025 as she shared a post to Instagram on Thursday.
Natalie Tippett, who is the real inspiration behind Lily’s West End Girl tracks, previously admitted to having relations with the singer’s now ex-husband, David Harbour after their marriage became open.
And now, to mark the turn of the new year, the mother-of-one confessed she now has ‘immense gratitude for therapy’ after experiencing a turbulent year of drama.
While Natalie has admitted having sex with David when he was married to Lily, she has claimed it was not for three years and has argued it was not an ‘affair’.
Reflecting on her last 12 months in her most recent social media post, Natalie wrote: ‘2025… highest highs, lowest lows, abundance of joy coupled with intense anxiety’
‘Immense gratitude for friends family community therapy and a beautiful healthy baby girl’

Lily’s acclaimed album recounted in painful detail the break-up of her four-year marriage to David and devoted much of her lyrics to his infidelity with a secret lover.
The brutally raw lyrics left no room for doubt – ‘Madeline’ was the other woman in her marriage to him.
They reveal Lily confronted her by text to ask: ‘How long has it been going on? Is it just sex or is there emotion?’
The star’s millions of fans flocked to social media in a frenzy, asking who Madeline was – or, as Lily put it in lyric form – ‘Who the f*** is Madeline?’
Natalie stayed quiet in the immediate fallout from the album release in October 2025, but last month, she broke her silence and hit back at the singer.
In a series of Stories, Natalie, who lives in New Orleans, denied claims of a long-term affair and said she felt ‘extremely violated’ by the way she has been portrayed.
‘I did not have a three year affair with anyone,’ she wrote.
‘I’m unsure why this person wants so badly to pit people against me or create this narrative that we both know is false based on the actual messages that I have saved between us.

‘The same ones that have now been referenced in a song without my consent.
‘I don’t weaponize women against women for the behaviour of men, especially not in an open relationship.
‘I’m wishing her all the success, money, healing and happiness and whatever else she’s seeking through this.’
The single mother said she is ‘aware of the repercussions speaking out’ may cause, but that it couldn’t be worse than ‘having to watch someone profit off painful lies’.
‘I’m a human being not a character someone created,’ she added.
The extraordinary statement marked the first time Natalie had directly responded to the release of Lily’s album.
It is understood that Natalie met David, who is 16 years her senior, while filming the Netflix movie We Have A Ghost in 2021, on location in New Orleans.
David was the movie’s leading man, while Natalie worked in the costume department. Their affair reportedly began shortly after shooting started.
David had married Lily, who has two daughters, Ethel, 13, and Marnie, 12, from her previous marriage to Sam Cooper, in Las Vegas the year before.
After filming ended, David reportedly flew Natalie to his home in Atlanta, Georgia, as the affair continued behind Lily’s back.
However, his secret fling was exposed when Lily discovered an incriminating text message on his mobile phone, and as her marriage fell apart, she turned her heartache into music.
Lily and David announced their split in January 2025 after just over four years of marriage.
It is understood they separated in December, and that Lily spent Christmas alone with her children in Kenya, 3,000 miles from David.
