LISANDRO MARTINEZ fumed at Manchester United’s “frustrating” home form after their 1-1 draw with basement club Wolves.
Wolves collected only their third point from 19 Premier League games this season to deny United fourth place in the table.
United have now dropped nine points from their last five games at Old Trafford within the last six weeks.
The Wolves stalemate was also the sixth time that United have gone 1-0 up this season and failed to win.
Martinez, who captained United for the second successive match in the absence of the injured Bruno Fernandes, said: “Really disappointed. We can’t come here at home and draw this game.
“We have to win when we play at home. The opponent has to suffer and we didn’t get the three points. Very frustrating.
“The team gave everything. Just for a few moments, we conceded in the last moment of the first half, that can happen. We can deserve that, it’s our responsibility.
“Wolves don’t deserve the place they are, it’s a strong team. We respect them. We have to take more risks.
“The lads are very disappointed, we expect better. We have to take it and accept it and go for the next one.”
United were without eight players but manager Ruben Amorim refused to use that as an excuse as United beat Newcastle on Boxing Day with seven players out.

Amorim, 40, said: “We didn’t use that excuse against Newcastle.
“We are not going to use today, but of course, if you see the game, I understand why we play the way we play today, the lack of fluidity, lack of one against one.
“We knew it that would be a completely different game compared to Newcastle because in Newcastle, we have more space to play.
“We didn’t have to work the play so much and today we have difficulties in that aspect and that is clear.”
Having abandoned his 3-4-2-1 system for the visit of Newcastle in favour of a back four, Amorim reverted back to a back three against Wolves.
But The Portuguese replaced United goalscorer Joshua Zirkzee with 18-year-old Jack Fletcher at half-time and the team switched to 4-2-3-1.
When asked why he changed back to 3-4-2-1 at kick-off, Amorim added: “We knew that they will play with the five. They will use the width.
“And today was just to do that and then sometimes building up with (Patrick Dorgu) open or close with Luke Shaw doing the opposite.
“So we try to arrange the right situations for the situation that we have in the moment.”
