A MAJOR supermarket chain has slashed the price of chocolate to as little as 2 pence.
Shoppers have been shocked by the post-Christmas bargains they’ve been able to get their hands on at their local supermarkets.

As the supermarkets try to get rid of their leftover Christmas stock, customers are seeing some crazy deals on a variety of items.
One customer took to Facebook to share her haul after a shopping trip to Asda and B&M.
A Quality Street bar of chocolate, which typically costs £1.50 only set her back 50 pence.
And a packet of five Cadbury Chocolate Puds which retail on Cadbury’s website for £5 were secured for a mere 88p.
The chocolatey deals didn’t stop there.
Two bags of Lindt chocolates, a more high end chocolate brand, only cost £1 and a packet of Terry’s Mini Mint chocolates were 63p.
From Asda, this shopper got Christmas a Hershey’s Cookies n Creme advent calendar as well as a Lindt Chocolate Teddy advent calendar for as little as 2p.
Although the excitement of opening up each calendar pocket counting down 24 days till Christmas is gone, the chocolate inside is certainly still good to eat.
The Christmas deals span beyond chocolate too.
While perusing the shops, this customer bought a new pair of kids pyjamas for half the price – down from £5 to £2.50.
One commenter hinted at even cheaper PJ deals at Asda: “I picked up some reduced [Asda PJs] marked at £10 but was only charged 1p at the till.”
