GAEL CLICHY have been named of the manager of Kylian Mbappe’s club.
The former Arsenal Invincible will take over the top job at Caen in France.

A club statement confirmed the news over the former France defender – who also turned out for Manchester City in England’s top tier.
He was hailed for his “knowledge of modern football and high standards” and he will be joined by Marvin Esor at the club.
It’s a chance to return to club level football after working with Thierry Henry in the France Under-21 set up.
A club statement reads: “Stade Malherbe Caen announces the arrival of Gaël Clichy as head coach of its professional team.
“A former French international, he will bring to the club his experience at the highest level, his knowledge of modern football, and his high standards.
“After his time at Arsenal and Manchester City as a player, Gaël quickly transitioned into a hybrid player/coach role at Başakşehir Istanbul and Servette Geneva.
“He then joined Thierry Henry as manager of the French Under-21 team, an experience that culminated in a second-place finish at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
“He will be accompanied by Marvin Esor, who will complete the current technical staff which remains unchanged.

“SM Caen welcomes this new coach and offers him its full support to meet the challenges of the second half of the season.”
The announcement comes amid some fan fury over Real Madrid and France superstar Kylian Mbappe and his ownership of the club.
The 27-year-old last month hit back on social media at a new song that took aim at him and his involvement with Caen.
Writing on X about Orelsan – who he tagged in the post – Mbappe said: “You’re welcome to “save” the city you love so much.
“PS: The guy just begged us to let him in with 1% without paying because he doesn’t have a dime but to get the good image of the little guy from Normandy”.
