But he vacated his WBO belt in November, with Britain’s Fabio Wardley elevated to world champion.

Usyk – who claims to have just two fights and two years left in the sport – has already beaten Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Dubois TWICE over.

So he wants former WBC champ Deontay Wilder – the last big name of his era – on his winning record before he retires.

Usyk once again called out the American while in Saudi Arabia to watch Naoya Inoue beat David Picasso.

He said: “Next year, I want [to] fight with Bronze Bomber, yes, Wilder.”

Wilder, 40, returned with victory in June against little-known Tyrrell Herndon, 38, in seven rounds.

It followed from losses to Joseph Parker, 33, and Zhilei Zhang, 42.

Usyk’s camp are in talks for the Wilder fight which they want in America and NOT the Middle East.

Manager Egis Klimas told The National: “Right now we’re working on it, and we’re working on some multi-fight agreement for Oleksandr.

“As soon as we’re going to confirm that, we’re going to jump in. And some talks already are going on with the team of Wilder.

“We’re looking at Las Vegas or Los Angeles, and dates are the end of April, beginning of May.

“Wilder is one of the best names [that] Oleksandr didn’t face yet. He’s still in good shape, and he’s still a fighter, so he’s interesting. And as well, it’s the United States.”
