A FIRE engulfed the home of Nascar driver Denny Hamlin’s parents – and two people were rushed to the hospital.
Shocking pictures showed the raging inferno devastating the property, which is owned by the racing star, on Sunday night.
Crews rushed to the home in North Carolina and were seen spraying water at the property.
Fire chiefs revealed that almost half of the home was burning by the time crews arrived, as reported by The Athletic.
Between 10 and 15 crews were at the home because of a lack of fire hydrants.
Hamlin’s property company Won One Real Estate owns the home, according to The Athletic.
Hamlin is one of the all-time NASCAR greats.
He burst onto the scene in 2006, winning the Rookie of the Year accolade.
During his career, he has won the Daytona 500 event three times in 2016, 2019, and 2020.
And, he landed his first Coca Cola 600 race win in 2022.
He is one of the highest paid NASCAR drivers and has a net worth of $65 million.
Hamlin has not spoken out about the blaze.
Earlier this month, NASCAR was left reeling by the death of racing driver Greg Biffle and his family.
He, his wife, and two children were among seven killed in a plane crash in North Carolina.
